Anil Tahiliani

Anil manages the Matco Canadian Equity Income Fund and the Matco Opportunities Fund. He also works with a wide range of private clients, providing asset mix, portfolio, financial and retirement planning.

Anil joined Matco in 2018, bringing his wide-ranging experience in money management and working with private clients, institutions and non-profits. He started his career in 1990 at the Alberta Treasury Department as a financial analyst. Next, he joined Bissett and Associates Investment Management as a Portfolio Manager. As an entrepreneur, Anil co-founded three internet start-up companies in Phoenix and served as their Chief Financial Officer. On returning to Calgary, Anil was Director of Research and Portfolio Manager for 16 years at McLean & Partners Wealth Management.

Anil has also been involved in several not-for-profit organizations and currently serves on the Board and as the Past President of the Cancervive Foundation of Alberta.

Outside of the office, Anil enjoys cycling, mountain biking, and running.
