Meet the team behind Matco

Bill co-founded Matco Financial in 2006 and served as CIO until 2018. Today, he supports the firm’s growth through strategic initiatives, partnerships, mentoring and brand leadership.

Co-founded Matco in 2006. Leads firm operations, client relationships, and family office services. Personally manages custom portfolios for high-net-worth clients. 30+ years experience.

Trevor Galon joined Matco in 2015 and serves as Chief Investment Officer. He oversees Matco’s investment platform and manages the Matco Balanced Fund and Matco Diversified Income Fund.

Anil manages the Matco Canadian Equity Income Fund and Matco Opportunities Fund. He brings decades of investment experience and advises private clients on portfolio, financial and retirement planning.

James joined Matco in 2022 and brings 10+ years of investment and wealth management experience. He leads the Matco Global Equity Fund and serves on key investment committees.

Gabriel Solis joined Matco Financial in June 2026 as a Research Analyst, supporting equity and fixed income analysis, fund and SMA reporting, and daily trading desk operations. He completed his finance degree at Mount Royal University after moving to Canada in 2021, gaining experience through internships and the MRU Investment Fund.

Poojan Joshi is a Research Analyst at Matco Financial, supporting the Investment Management Team and related workflows. He also brings trading and operations experience from his previous role within the firm.

Simon is a Trading and Operations Specialist at Matco Financial. He supports client servicing, daily trading operations and mutual fund transactions, combining technology experience with finance expertise.

Lindsay provides client service support for Matco’s family office and wealth clients. She joined Matco in 2011 and brings extensive operations and client service experience in wealth management.

Jaime oversees Matco’s regulatory compliance framework and supports client servicing matters. She joined Matco in 2017 and was appointed Chief Compliance Officer in 2018.

Lee-Ann joined Matco in 2018 and supports clients with servicing matters. She brings financial industry and supply chain experience, with a focus on process improvement and client service.

Diana oversees financial and regulatory reporting for Matco mutual funds and corporate accounting. She joined Matco in 2020 and brings controller experience across investment and private equity firms.

Alice supports Matco’s accounting function and brings 15 years of accounting experience. Her expertise includes financial statements, full-cycle accounting, budgeting, payroll and taxes.

Derek leads Matco’s marketing team, from building the marketing plan to executing campaigns that support the firm’s growth.

Kevin Quon is a marketing professional with 8+ years of experience in video, web, SEO, social media and events. He helps growing businesses strengthen their brand and online presence.
